Tour Itinerary

Day 1 (1 April 2024)

  • For all outstation participants, we recommend you reach Guwahati on day 1 before 2 pm. Arrive at Kaziranga and relax in the resort. Have an early dinner and take rest.

Day 2 (2 April 2024)

  • Kaziranga has three major zones. All zones have their own distinctive characteristics. We plan to visit all the three zones during our stay at Kaziranga. We will visit West range first day of the tour. You will come across abundant photographic opportunities at every corner of the forest. After the safari, relax in the afternoon at the Lodge. Enjoy tasty Assamese lunch. Join the afternoon jeep safari, followed by a the group discussion in the evening over the day's activities.

Day 3 (3 April 2024)

  • Join the morning safari to the central zone, which is also a very popular zone. You will have unlimited opportunities to photograph the majestic rhinos, wild buffaloes and elephants. Relax in the afternoon at the Lodge. Join the evening jeep safari. Back at the resort, join a digital image processing workkshop in the evening. You will be able to work on your images shot during the day.

Day 4 (4 April 2024)

  • Morning we explore Burhapar range where you can expect Gibbons. Apart from abundance of the primates, several other animals which can be sighted include barking deer, sambar, wild boar, Himalayan orange bellied squirrel, horry bellied squirrel, Malayan giant squirrel, etc. among mammals; python, common monitor lizard, gecko lizard, cobra, other snakes, etc.
  • We break for lunch and then again go back to the forest for some more excitement filled explorations. As the evening sets, we get back to Kaziranga. Relax in the resort. Have an early dinner and take rest.

Day 5 (5 April 2024)

  • Morning checkout after breakfast and transfer back to Airport.

Best Time to Visit Kaziranga

If you are planning to visit Kaziranga, then November to April are the best times. Assam receives the majority of its rainfall in the pre-monsoon and monsoon months. Hence, it is better to avoid tours during the months of June, July, and August. During these months, Kaziranga National Park is flooded with water and recedes by September and October.

Do’s and Don’ts in Jungle Safari

We suggest you to respect the jungle and its environment. Maintaining the decorum will help you to take back some beautiful memories to cherish from the Jungle Safari. Simply follow the dos and don’ts listed below:

Do's Don'ts
Wear neutral/sober color outfits. Do not smoke and drink liquor inside the park.
Be calm composed when inside the jungle. Do not wear bright color outfits.
Pack light baggage. Do not make unnecessary noise inside the jungle.
Wear sunglasses. Do not carry fire arms inside the park.
Apply sunscreen to protect your skin from harsh UV rays of sun. Do not feed the animals in the jungle.
Wear hats to protect from sun rays. Do not litter inside or outside the vehicle.
